My name is Brandon Gilbert. I live in Nashville, TN with my wife, Jamie and our son, Ryne. I started this blog because I love my son and I want to share our adventures together. I also started it because there’s a lot of blogs by Moms and I wanted a Dad’s perspective out there.
I am writing a book based on what I’ve learned about God as our father from being a father. The tentative title is Changing the Diaper of Our Soul. I hope to have it published by March 28th, 2011. This is when I will turn 30.
I am a Christ-Follower. I would say I’m a Christian, but that probably would leave a bad taste in your mouth…and that’s understandable. Currently, we are part of a church plant in East Nashville called Restoration Church.
I am a sports fan. I love Alabama Crimson Tide Football, North Alabama Lions Football (Division II Football is awesome) Chicago Cubs Baseball, Tennessee Titans Football, and Seattle Seahawks Football (one NFC and AFC team).
